Dr. Carmin McKinney is a relationship-driven leader with 25+ years of experience in building partnerships and leading fundraising strategies locally and globally. She spent over a decade with international NGOs shaping program strategy and reporting impact for donors, then brought that relationship-centered approach home as Executive Director of Mansfield Mission Center, aligning civic leaders, churches, healthcare partners, and local businesses around shared goals that translated into sustainable community funding.
That same relationship-building instinct carried Carmin into higher education, where she served as lead faculty for the University of Texas at Arlington's Philanthropy degree program for three years, equipping emerging development professionals with practical tools for donor cultivation, fundraising strategy, and community partnership building. She continues to teach fundraising and nonprofit leadership part-time at UTA and LSU Shreveport today.
Carmin now channels the same relationship-driven approach as Director of Investor Relations for MCIII Development Group, a family-owned land development company focused on Class A single and multi-family communities throughout the DFW region, where she stewards relationships with existing investors while meeting new potential investors and sharing investment opportunities across MCIII's projects. Through her consulting work, she has also coached dozens of nonprofit organizations on donor engagement, stewardship systems, and relationship-centered development strategy, and she currently serves on the board of The Fleetwood Project theater company.
She holds a Bachelor’s in Religious Education from Tyndale University (Toronto), an M.A. in Organizational Leadership from Eastern University (Philadelphia), and an Ed.D. in Organizational Change and Leadership from the University of Southern California.
Having called Mansfield home for more than a decade, Carmin brings her network and fundraising experience to every organization she serves, along with a deep commitment to the community she's come to love.
